RP Laser propulsion uses a phenomena called Laser Supported Detonation(LSD) in order to generate thrust. We create laser plasma in our lab and visualize the phenomena using many methods in order to elucidate the mechanism of the blast wave which generates thrust.
We simulate laser propulsion systems in order to estimate the cost and the scale neede to realize the system.
