Greetings, Bonjour, こんにちは.
Before I came to Japan, people kept telling me that christmas was not really celebrated here. Besides the weird tradition of eating KFC of course ... So I expected a grim winter without the many lights everywhere in the streets and without the warm atmosphere we can find in the western countries that celebrate christmas.
Fortunately I was wrong. After a late night at Kashiwa campus, I stepped upon one beautiful landscape at the station. Every tree was lit up. The sight of this felt like home and put a smile on my face. Let's hope we can find this in Tokyo as well.
